This Code of Conduct outlines the principles and expectations for all EDUkraine volunteers to ensure a positive experience for everyone involved.
Treat everyone with respect and dignity. Be kind, courteous, and
considerate in all interactions with students, fellow volunteers,
and staff.
Respect the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our students.
Avoid any language or behavior that could be interpreted as
discriminatory or insensitive.
Maintain professional boundaries. Keep all interactions with students professional and appropriate. Avoid any behavior that could be misinterpreted as overly familiar or personal.
Prioritize student safety. Always act in the best interest of the
students' safety and well-being. Report any concerns or incidents
immediately to the volunteer coordinator.
Adhere to EDUkraine supervision requirements. Follow all guidelines
for supervision and reporting as outlined by EDUkraine.
Be truthful and transparent in all actions and communications. Avoid
any form of deceit or misrepresentation.
Take responsibility for your actions and decisions. If you make a
mistake, acknowledge it and take steps to correct it.
Respect the privacy and confidentiality of all students. Do not
share any personal information about students without their consent
and the approval of EDUkraine.
Handle all student information securely and in accordance with
EDUkraine's data protection policies.
Do not engage in any form of discrimination, harassment, or
bullying. This includes but is not limited to verbal, physical, and
online conduct.
Do not pursue or engage in any overly personal, romantic, or
inappropriate relationships with students.
Refrain from using, possessing, or being under the influence of
alcohol or illegal drugs while volunteering.
Actively support and promote EDUkraine's mission to empower
Ukrainian refugees through education.
Represent EDUkraine positively in all interactions and
communications, both online and offline.
Follow all EDUkraine policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Immediately report any concerns, violations, or incidents to the
volunteer coordinator or appropriate authority within EDUkraine.
By volunteering with EDUkraine, you agree to adhere to this Code of Conduct and understand that failure to do so may result in disciplinary action, including dismissal from the volunteer program.
