At EDUkraine, the safety and well-being of children are our top priorities. We are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all our students, particularly those who are under 18 years old. This Child Protection Policy outlines our guidelines and procedures to ensure the protection of children participating in our programs.
We strive to create a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment
for all children involved in our programs. We serve students 9 years
of age and above. Volunteers are age 13 and above.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for any form of abuse, neglect, or
exploitation of children.
All volunteers are subject to comprehensive background checks,
including criminal history, to ensure they meet our safety
standards.
Volunteers must complete mandatory training on child protection,
recognizing signs of abuse, and EDUkraine's policies and procedures.
Volunteers must maintain professional boundaries and avoid any
behavior that could be misinterpreted as overly familiar or
inappropriate.
Volunteers are expected to model appropriate behavior, language, and
interactions at all times.

Any concerns or suspicions of child abuse or neglect must be
reported immediately to the volunteer coordinator or designated
child protection officer.
All reports and investigations will be handled with the utmost
confidentiality to protect the privacy of those involved.
EDUkraine will promptly and thoroughly investigate all reports of
child abuse or neglect and take appropriate action, including
involving relevant authorities if necessary.
Online interactions must occur through approved platforms and methods. Private communications between volunteers and children are prohibited.
We educate children about their rights, personal safety, and how to
report any concerns.
Volunteers receive ongoing training and updates on child protection
policies and best practices.
This Child Protection Policy will be reviewed regularly to ensure it
remains effective and up-to-date with current best practices and
legal requirements.
